Confidentiality

We take privacy and confidentiality seriously. When you hire an attorney from SBBL Law, your case will be kept confidential under the attorney-client privilege. All our team members, including our non-attorney staff, are committed to privacy and confidentiality for our clients. We do not disclose information—including contact information, online inquiries, initial consultation information, and case details—about clients or prospective clients outside the firm without their permission, such as to make a referral to another attorney.

There are limited exceptions to this confidentiality. Attorneys are under an independent ethical duty to reveal certain privileged information, such as illegal or fraudulent acts committed by clients in the course of the attorney-client relationship, the intention of the client to commit a future crime, or when the attorney is required to divulge the information by law or court order.

Payment Information

We accept secure online payments using third-party payment software. Our firm does not retain any payment information.

Records

Any original materials you provide to us will be returned to you, or you will have an opportunity to retrieve them immediately upon the conclusion of the representation. Your file may be destroyed at any time after five years from the start of your case without notice to you, should the firm determine that those files are no longer needed for the case.
