• No jail time HYTA sentence for college student with no criminal record in Washtenaw County, Michigan, after CSC-1st and CSC-3rd charges were filed against him from years prior.

Criminal Appeals

Title IX Cases

• College student accused of campus sexual assault in Grand Rapids, Michigan, found not responsible following Title IX hearing. Complainant appealed, and hearing was redone. Won second hearing in front of a new panel. Obtained civil settlement for wrongfully accused student. No criminal charges filed.
• Won Title IX appeal for complainant in high school sexual harassment case in Union County, North Carolina.
• Won Title IX hearing for female college freshman accused of inappropriate touching in Allendale, Michigan. No criminal charges filed.
• Title IX case dismissed against college student in Gratiot County, Michigan, following initial interview with investigator.
• Successfully removed Title IX investigator for bias against the accused college student in a campus sexual assault investigation in Ottawa County, Michigan. New third-party investigator found accused student not responsible. No criminal charges filed.
